    In order to further implement the strategic deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on advocating and carrying out national reading, and in accordance with the task requirements of the “Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of a Modern Public Cultural Service System” issued by the General Office of the Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television has decided to continue organizing and carrying out national reading work in 2015 on the basis of advocating and organizing national reading work for many years and building a “bookish China”. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.

Further implement the strategy of producing high-quality products, and plan to launch a number of landmark publishing projects that reflect the national will and represent the national level in fields such as humanities and social sciences, science and technology. Organize editors, authors, and others to deeply immerse themselves in life and root themselves in the people, take a literary and artistic path that is in line with the times, and launch a batch of outstanding literary and artistic works that are worthy of the times. Carefully launch a batch of excellent children’s publications that combine knowledge, science, art, and fun.

Continue to closely integrate various industry exhibitions such as book fairs, book fairs, and book markets with the national reading work, attracting more readers to participate.
